Login approvals in the only way in which the hackers are totally unable to get access to your account. If this security step in enabled in your account then when someone will login to your account from any unknown device then a message will be sent to your mobile phone with the confirmation code, Now if you enter that code then you can access to your account otherwise a use can't login. So even if someone tries to access your account then you will get text on your cell phone and you will be notified that someone is trying to access your account.
Enable Login Approvals In Facebook
Enabling this security step in not so difficult as you may be thinking. There are two main steps to enable this. The First one is attaching your mobile number with your Facebook account and the second one is enabling login approvals. Don't worry, your mobile number will not be shared in public, it will be private. It is not me saying it is told by Facebook. Ok, so let's begin with the first step.
Step#1 :Adding Mobile Number In Your Facebook Account
- Go To Facebook and Login To Your Account.
- Go To Account Settings From The Drop Down Menu.
- There will be menu on the left side. Click on "Mobile".
- Here you will see the "+ Add a Phone" button. Simply click it. It will ask for country and mobile carrier, so choose your options and click "Next".
- In the second step, you've to text a letter "F" to the given number.
- In short, you will get the confirmation code from Facebook in your mobile.
- Write that code in that confirmation code box.
- At the bottom, there are some security check boxes. Read them and use them accordingly you want.
- After that, you will successfully attach your mobile number with your Facebook account and you've done with half.

Step#2 : Enabling Login Approvals
- Go To Account Settings and click on "Security" from the left side menu.
- Click on "Login Approvals" and Tick the box.
- Immediately, a popup will appear about "Login Approvals".
- Click "Get Started" Button to continue.
- Choose the mobile phone which you've.
- Facebook has a special application for Andrion and iPhone. If you don't have these kind of mobile phone and simply choose "Others".
- After that, it will send the confirmation code in your mobile number. You will receive it shortly.
- In the last, enter that code in the box and hit the "Confirm" button.
- Finally, You've enabled the login approvals.
